From the total ironic category

In the city of Los Angeles, if you have some fame, you can kill your wife and pay a stiff fine (about 30 -33.5 million dollars is the fine).

In the recent case of this, Robert Blake was found not guilty of killing his wife, but liable for her death. The definition of liable is being in a position to incur, in short responsible. Does this not mean that he caused her death or made it happen? Where does the law separate this fact? Either he did it or not. There is no innocent of her death and then found liable for it. This really does not make sense, since I did not take law. I only took English and know the definition of innocent and liable.

Well due to financial hardship, Robert Blake will probably not pay this fine. He is currently in debt to the Internal Revenue Service for the tune of 225,000 dollars. We all know that the IRS gets their cut above any one. In the end, Robert Blake will not have to answer for this crime with either jail time or fine.

As if this could not get any more ironic, O.J. Simpson was quoted “I still don’t get how anyone can be found not guilty of a murder and then be found responsible for it in any way shape or form, … if you’re found not guilty, how can you be found responsible? …” This is the talk of either an idiot or someone who has no clue. In this case it is both. Does he not remember his own case?

There are similarities in both cases. Both men married women who over time felt that these women were a drain on their wallets. Both felt the only alternative was to remove these women from the equation, permanently. I am not saying they did it, but there was enough evidence in both cases to say guilty. These cases could have been solved in an hour episode of Law and Order or a two part Scooby-Doo episode. Due to legal workings (heck Johnnie Cochran had me dazzled with the “if it does not fit, you can’t convict” line), O.J. and Blake were found “innocent” in criminal court, but “liable” in civil court.

O.J., like Blake, has financial hardships and will possibly not pay his “fine” in full. He is currently living on his NFL pension and living in Florida. He is currently "looking" for the murderer or murderers of Nicole and Ron.

Both men might think they have beat the crime. Tupac said “Only God can judge me”. O.J. and Blake are going to face a higher court and fame will not help.

P.S. To the news media, please stop asking O.J. opinions on any court cases. He had no clue while he was there and still has no clue. When you ask his opinions, you make him appear as an authority on the matter and in fact he is only a joke; and not even a good joke.
